...Says the state council of NUJ will take new shape under Adegbite
A legislative member in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has congratulated Prince Leke Adegbite, as he was re-elected chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Ondo state council.
Adegbite, a seasoned journalist who works with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria,(FRCN), positive FM Akure, was re-elected for second term at the state capital on Wednesday.
Ifabiyi, in a statement on Friday by his image maker at the state capital in Akure, congratulated the NUJ chairman and all newly elected members of the union on their successful election.
He expressed optimism that Prince Leke Adegbite as a committed, dedicated, versatile, and resourceful media guru would impart unprecedented difference in pen profession among comity of journalists in the state, given his wealth of experience.
The lawmaker, while calling on NUJ chairman in the state, and indeed all members of the union for synergy between the legislative arm of government at all times, congratulated members of the NUJ in the state on the new development .
He also commended the other members of the union, for their contributions to the development of journalism profession as well as provision of timely, and accurate information on government policies and programmes through balanced and fair reportage.
