An Ondo Kingdom group in Ondo Central Senatorial District central of the State, "Symbol of Hope", has honoured a member representing Odigbo Constituency 1 in Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji with the award of excellence.
Presenting the award to the lawmaker in his office in Akure on Tuesday, the chairman of the group, comrade Oluwole Afeez lauded Ifabiyi for his active performan in legislative activities as well contributions towards the development of Ondo State to which among others earned him the well deserved honour.
While commending his exemplary roles at the state hallow chamber and unwavering commitment to the principles of diligence and humanity, comrade Oluwole said the award was also as a result of his compassion and steadfast dedication to the well -being of people Odigbo Local Government Area including the less privileged.
The Chairman who described Ifabiyi Olatunji as a grassroot politician with a heart of gold,prayed that God should continue to grant him joy, good health and success in his endeavours.
Earlier in his response, the lawmaker commended the leadership of the Symbol of Hope on the new development ,saying such would spur him to re-double his effort and contribution towards providing quality representation of his constituents as member of the State's legislatures.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji also used the occasion to thank the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his various landmark achievements aimed at putting smiles on faces of individuals in the State including the recent release of employment list by Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBED) to fill vacant positions in both public primary and secondary institutions in the state.
