Ondo State House of Assembly member, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP),has lamented the sudden passage of member of the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) from Ebijaw ward of Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, late comrade Franklin Akporo who died at the early hours of Thursday after a brief illness.
The lawmaker, spoke while commiserating with family of the deceased at Ugbo-Oma Kekere town in Ovia Southwest Local Government Area of Edo State at the weekend.
During the condolence visit to the deceased's family, Ifabiyi described the late twin brother to former elected councilor of Ebijaw ward in Ondo State as an epitome of knowledge with significant political prowess while alive.
According to him "I mourn the sudden and untimely passing of comrade Franklin Akporo".
"This devastating news is a monumental loss, not only to his family and people of Ebijaw ward but also to the entire people of my State constituency"
"We will deeply miss comrade Franklin presence, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.”
“As one of APC leaders in Ebijaw ward Franklin was an exemplary leader who embodied the principles of knowledge including his politicking".

Recounting his ordeal ,Hon Akporo Tombra expressed sadness over the irreparable loss of his late twin brother.
"We tried to resuscitate the life of my twin brother but God knows the best.
He died after a brief illness. HonTombra lamented
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji was accompanied were the immediate past special assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on political mobilisation Hon. Najeem Adegboye, former Onisere ward councilor Peter Ajide, and other notable APC stalwarts in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State.
The news on the death of late Franklin Akporo filtered in the air on Thursday when his political associates took to social media to announce his demise of the departed.
