Says Odigbo Residents Will Experience New Dawn Under New Council Boss
....Urges Losers to Accept Defeat for Favourable Atmosphere
A State lawmaker, Ifabiyi Olatunji has congratulated Odigbo Local Government chairman elect,Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye for his landslide victory in the last Saturday Local Government Elections in Ondo state.
The Ondo State House of Assembly public accounts committee chairman also feted all the newly elected 11 wards councilors for their new elective positions as local legislative members for the next three years.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji in a statement by his pen-friend on Monday in Ore the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, described the outcome of the poll as a well deserved victory for all candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),noting that Odigbo would experience a new dawn under Adegoroye's led-administration.
The lawmaker representing Odigbo constituency 1 at the state chamber said the victory of his director general campaign organisation in the last state assembly's election, Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye is a product of his unprecedented antecedents, steadfastness and dedication to the general core value,as well his humanly dignity to people around.
While crediting the success recorded in the just concluded Saturday local government elections to Governor of Ondo State,Dr Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for his neutrality beforeand during the exercise,Ifabiyi also commended representatives of all security agencies for intensifying their professionalism for the smooth conduct of the poll.
Ifabiyi described the local government election exercise as peaceful,credible and acceptable in Ondo state and Nigeria far, appealedto all party candidateswho lost out in the contest to accept defeat for favourable atmosphere,saying it is pertinent that both the winner and the loser are crucial in every contest.

Recall that the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) Sunday 18 2025, declared Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye of the of APC winner of last Saturday chairmanship election having pulled 27,251 votes to defeat his close rival,Jimmy Akinyan of Social Democratic Party (SDP) who also scored 1,436 votes.
