Hon Ogundare made the remark while addressing journalists after casting ballot at unit 12 Ore ward 10 Beulah primary school in Ore the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The APC chieftain and the party's councilorship flag bearer who hailed the conformity of the Ondo state Independent Electoral Commission, (ODIEC) with the national electoral system, said though low turnout of electorate marred the exercise, voters came out to vote for candidates of their choice at the poll in the area.
While optimistic that, he would emerge victorious as Ore ward councilor, Hon Waheed Ogundare thanked the security operatives for discharging their professionalism during the Local Government election.

Also addressing newsmen, APC director general for the local government election,Odigbo Local Government chapter, Abimbola Oladimeji credited the smooth conduct of the poll across the state to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the ODIEC.
The full time board member at thr State football agency, commended the Nigeria Police and its sister agencies for providing a condusive atmosphere for the poll.
Report has it that, as at the press time,sorting and counting of votes cast across has commended across all political wards of Odigbo council area as residents await official announcement of Saturday's 18 local government elections in the state by the ODIEC.
