As Ondo Lawmaker,Ifabiyi Delivers Ward for Governor Aiyedatiwa
Commends Stakeholders, Other Residents for Unwavering Supports Giving the Party
This is contained in spreadsheet obtained from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Registration Area Level as collated by electoral officer in-charge of Ore ward 2 in Onisere Odigbo local government area of the state late Saturday night.
According to INEC's record, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress,APC won with wide margin,pulled 2,233 votes to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party standard bearer, Agboola Ajayi who only scored 662 votes in the Saturday election.
The APC statesman, Ifabiyi Olatunji who voted at 8:05 am at his voting point, unit 02 of his residential home Mile 9 Onisere, had earlier defeated the opposition party with 167 votes, and 114 at polling unit 014 of Mile 9 as against PDP who only pulled 36 and 42 respectively.
However, the chairman house committee on public accounts the state hallow chamber, commended stakeholders of the party in the area alongside the people of Onisere for unwavering supports given towards the success attained.
Report earlier gathered across the state during the Saturday governorship election exercise, indicated that the Ondo State 2024 Governorship Election was said to be the most credible, transparent,and hitch-free election in history of Ondo State as all tiers of security agencies participated in the conduct of the poll in order to forestall any act of disobedience to principles of a credible election of a democratic state.
