Ondo 2024: GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA INAUGURATES APC CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE IN ODIGBO

Akinfolarin, Makinde, Others Devise Winning Strategies 

...As Mass Defection Hit PDP Ahead Next Month's Election 

Ahead of November 16 Governorship Election in Ondo state, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on Tuesday, inaugurated his campaign committee in Odigbo local government area of the state.

The inauguration of APC campaign committee across the eighteen local government areas is aims at apportion task to every member of the committee and to set the record straight for the reelection of the governor in coming month's election.

Governor Aiyedatiwa who spoke at the inaugural ceremony was represented by former member of the federal house of representatives, Rt Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin told party's canvassers to evangelise and the need to return Governor Aiyedatiwa  to Alagbaka after the off-cycle election in the state.

Akinfolarin, during a far-flung programme also charged supporters not to resile from party's principles but to avoid campaign of sentiment rather issues based campaign while carrying out their legitimate and assigned tasks as representatives of the ruling APC inline with electoral laws even at the circumferential.

Earlier, APC local government chairman, Alhaj Fatai Olawale,and a special adviser to the governor union matters, comrade Bola Taiwo,urged members of the constituted campaign committee to expedite action in winning more eligible voters into the party as Governorship Election gathers momentum in the state.

The duo, however, advised members of each committee to create avenue for important dialogue if any out of their tight schedules in order to allow for stakeholder's ratification where necessary ahead of November 16 governorship exercise.

This development, classified as part of devising winning strategies for the ruling party two weeks for the national electoral body,INEC to conduct Ondo State Governorship Election.

At the inauguration ceremony of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa campaign committee, gobs of prominent PDP's leaders across eleven political wards of Odigbo local government area defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Present at the committee inaugural event were LCDAs chairmen, artisans, market women,religion leaders, members of society groups and amongst others.

Recall that the Director General of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa campaign in Odigbo local government in a press release on Monday,announced the inauguration of APC campaign committee in the area.
