As Nigeria marks her 64th Independence anniversary,Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji of Ondo State House of Assembly,has congratulated Nigerians for the significant and eventful occasion
This is coming,just as the lawmaker asked Nigerians to support by thrusting the economic of Nigeria along with the present administration of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the nation's prosperity.
Hon Ifabiyi stated this in his goodwill message to people of Odigbo Constituency 1 and other Nigerians which was made public on Tuesday in Akure,the Ondo State capital in commemoration of the 64th Independence anniversary.
Speaking on activities of Nigeria's past leaders who fought the battle for independence in 1960, Ifabiyi eulogised Chief Obafemi Awolowo,Dr Nnamdi Azikwe and other nationalists for their concerted efforts in freeing the country, Nigeria from servitude.
Emphasizing the victory in 1960 through inalienable unity bonded the main ethnic groups in the country,the lawmaker describes the tactics as"a secret volant",he however,noted that the event took Nigeria to an extremed edge against authoritarian government.
The lawmaker, also posited that in order for Nigeria to economically wax stronger and safe the country from mockery by the common racists,Nigerians must continue to strengthening the unity, peace, and progress,and to also stay clear from nepotism, urging the citizens not to be dispelled.
The former special adviser to late governor Rotimi Akeredolu on political matters while noting that, it is obvious masses are currently facing hardship due to economic meltdown of the nation as inherited from the removal of fuel subsidy, the lawmaker appealed to Nigerians to shield the planned October 1 industrial action as orchestrated by civil society of Nigeria including the organised Nigeria's Labour Congress,NLC and Trade Union Congress,TUC
Ifabiyi also called on president Bola Tinubu to give room for ombudsman in revisiting the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited's policy in order to regularize the pump price of premium motor spirit,PMS also known as petrol across the country for economic stability of the nation

In remarks, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji prayed God to take Nigeria out of its nervous prostration, tasking citizens to keep their hopes alive for a prosperous nation, Nigeria.
