An independent group in Ondo state, the Ondo State Elegant Youth Forum, has commended the state government, and the Niger Delta Development Commission,NDDC for reconnecting Ondo southern senatorial district to the national grid.
The group gave the remarks in a statement directed to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and a board member at the NDDC Hon. Otito Atikase by chairman of the forum, Julius Asonja and made public via the group's official handle on Saturday
Comrade Asonja, while condemning the fifteen years blackout in Ondo south senatorial district, strengthened that the return of electricity power to the region is a remarkable feat which undoubtedly to boost economic growth,and enhance the overall quality of life of the people in the coastal area of the state.
He hinted that "this milestone is a testament to dedication to improving the lives of Ondo State residents"
Asonja extolled the collaborative efforts and visionary leadership of the key stakeholders that have contributed to the success of the laudable project through an understandable and effective communication, adding that this would enable investors to find home for businesses,and create job for unemployed youths in the area.
"This is achieved through effective communication and cordial engagement between stakeholders involved"

"By so doing, OSEYF will not rest on its oars to collaborate with any organization or body aims at demonstrating positive change or prioritizing the needs of the people". Comrade Asonja added
The OSEYF president, however, appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa, a representative of NDDC Hon. Otito Atikase and the Commission in making the vision a reality.
In the same vein, Comrade Julius Asonja therefore called on people of Ondo south to translate their actions to vote for governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the coming month election in order to propel more sustainable developments for citizens beyond 2025.
