Akintolayo Begs State Government to Rehabilitate Oro- Ajue Interlink Bridge, Provide Operational Vehicles
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji, the chairman house committee on public accounts at the Ondo State House of Assembly said interrelatedness and interdependence between the state government and government at the grassroots are two sustainable ways to achieve a viable financial capability in order to end financial contingency of its citizenry.
The lawmaker gave the assertion when he paid courtesy visit to Irepodun Local Council Development transition committee at its headquarters in Ajue on Monday.
In an interactive session with the council committee, Ifabiyi said for government at the doorstep to perform optimally there must be a shared transformative synergy between state government and local councils area.
Feeding back questions on proposed permanent site of Irepodun LCDA secretariat, chairman house committee on Governor's Office and Protocol assured the transition committee that the state government would attends ro all necessary requests brought before its after governorship election as slated for November 16 in Ondo state.
"My visit to this council is aimed at providing an interface and brainstorm on how we can make developments"
"It's never a gainsay that local council rests on the state government,however there must be synergy in between the duo".
"As you all know the present administration in Ondo state has ears to listen but we're in political season"
"All you need do now base on your requests from the state government is to wait till after governorship election"
Earlier, the Irepodun transistion committee chairman, Gbenro Akintolayo who commended Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji for the visit highlighted some challenges confronting rural dwellers in the area, noted that the bridge connecting Oro- Ajue town has been collapsed.
Hon Gbenro Akintolayo while appreciating his vice, Hon Ayobami Ojo for his financial support at all times for the development of the council, begged Ondo state government to provide operational vehicles for all security agencies to ease their services especially when receive distress calls from residents.

"As parts of our needs, we're calling on the state government to intensify efforts to develop our permanent site for the secretariat and vehicle"
"Provision of Operational vehicles for our security agencies in this area is essential to beef up their services"
"My vice has been so supportive to the council in term of funding and coordination"
He also condemned farmer's extortion by fake government officials in various government forest reserves in the area, calling on Ondo state government to urgently checkmate their activities to curtail its furtherance.
"Our farmers across government reserves are complaining of how some fake officials are posing extortion"
"They always bid them to pay #200,000,telling them government reserves have been sold to them"
