As May 1st  marks InternationaI Workers Day, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji of the Ondo state House of Assembly has congratulated Nigeria's workers just as he commended them for their selfless services to the nation.

The lawmaker's congratulatory message as directed to all the civil workers is contained in a statement he personally signed and made public by his special adviser on information and media strategy in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo local government area of the state on Wednesday in commemoration of the global Workers Day celebrations.

Ifabiyi Olatunji, while explaining the roles of civil servants towards the nation building for economic growth and its prosperity, he said workers efforts can never be underestimated in the development of any country.

The chairman house committee on public accounts also noted that workers remain one of the pivots bestowed with ability to trigger the economy of a nation if properly managed,calling on federal and state governments not to undermine the essentiality of Nigeria's workers no matter any circumstances.

"Today witness another international Workers' Day!"

"I therefore,join other well-meaning Nigerians to say; Congratulations to Nigeria's Workers"

"For any nation yearning for economic prosperity its must consider her workers very important"

"The roles of workers in nation building is very key to economic growth and development" 

"Therefore, governments at all levels must not sweep the benefits of their workers under carpet". Ifabiyi extolled workers 

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji while commending president Bola Tinubu over the new salary scales of all federal workers across the country, tasked all the thirty six state governors to consider same step for all state workers in order to stride a balance with the present states of economic in Nigeria to avoid any unforeseen impendent industrial action.

"I commend president Bola Tinubu for the new salary measures recently implemented, and so I appealed to state governments as well to do same for all state workers especially at this trying time to avoid unforeseen workers show down" He advised state governments
