Speaks On Importance of Formal, Domestic Training On Children
......Condemns Social Vices Among Younger Generations
As Nigeria joins other nations of the world to celebrate children day, a call has gone to all parents to ensure both formal and informal nurturing of their wards remain at the top gear of their domestications, particularly during their tender age, in order to prepare them against unaviodable future challenges.
The Chairman House Committee on public accounts at the Ondo state house of assembly Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji, made the call while congratulating younger generations for this year's occasion of Children Day anniversary.
Ifabiyi Olatunji, in a statement directed to celebrants on Monday in Akure the state capital, urged parents to give all necessary attentions where and when and to also meet their children's demands in such a way that would prevent them from being casualties of life compelling issues and other related matters in future to come.
The lawmaker noted that children are leaders of tomorrow, and that their parents need to prioritize their welfare by giving them quality education, viz a spirited domestic training,cautioned them not to indulge in social vices and other abusive characters capable to jeopardize their pursuits
While emphasizing that it is a clarion call for parents and their children to be supportive to one another, and hence be team players if truly they want to actualize their potentialities,Hon Ifabiyi tasked the latter to be productive and be abreast to reciprocate the good gesture in tandem even before being aged.
"Today is a special day for our children as they celebrate in commemoration of the global occasion"
"It is pertinent for every reasonable parent to prioritize their children's education and even the domestic training,catalysts to trail good paths"
"I will like to challenge our celebrants to be good ambassadors of their various homes wherever they find themselves".
"Then,let both parent and children be supportive as this would go a long way in the development of our dear society".
"I beseech them all to shun all social vices capable to jeopardize their good foresight". He advised
Urging those agile ones to keep all hopes alive in their various pursuits and ponder on their studies amidst the current economic meltdown in the country, former special adviser on commerce and industry to late governor Rotimi Akeredolu, however, called for God's intervention as hardship continue to bitting harder in Nigeria.
"It is my prayer that God in His infinite grace, help us to reshape our economic and to heal our land against this current hardship". Ifabiyi prayed
