In less than 48 hours to the primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC), political foes of the leading aspirant, Wale Akinterinwa, have come out with another lie.
Driven by the fear of their potential woeful outing in the election on Saturday, they have claimed that Akinterinwa has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This is an old lie clothe in new clothing material.
It will be recalled that the same set of desperate politicians have earlier raised a similar allegation against the former commissioner for finance at different times.
This time, they have planted the story to deceive and confuse the good people of Ondo state who are standing solidly behind Wale Akinterinwa.
We want to advise the teeming supporters of Mr. Wale Akinterinwa not to worry at all about all these lies as Wale Akinterinwa is coasting home to victory at the primary elections on Saturday.
