Ondo State lawmaker,  Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji has asked Muslims across the country to adopt this year's Ramadan Umah to pray fervently for Nigeria in its targets as a developing nation to meet other developed countries particularly for socioeconomic transformation.

The occupant of Odigbo constituency 1 seat at the Ondo state hallow chamber also tasked the faithfuls to used the occasion to pray for total restoration and protection as expectations of residents of the state is high towards the conduct of election in a bid to elect credible and competent candidate who would be poised to heat the ground running in the forthcoming 2024 governorship election in the state.

Hon Ifabiyi noted that as residents are anxious to witness a New Dawn in Ondo state, it is pertinent that all hands of every resident of the state must be on desk to ensure free and fair election under an enjoyed relative atmosphere,urging all muslims  to remember to pray for peace before, during and after the expected smooth conduct of the exercise this year.

He said the thirty days programme as commended by Almighty Allah portrays the season of sober reflection, restitution of sins of mankind,love and blessings,the lawmaker charged Islamic religion confidants in the state to remind other people in prayers in order to promote relationships between the two sister-religions in the country.

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji in his remarks, urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in prayers in his strides to resuscitate national economic to compete with international standards and avert the current naira devaluation

"Ramadan season reflects the period of love,sober mood among Islamic worshippers"

"It's also a period to bless the needy and the poor as commanded by prophet Allah" 

"Equally, I beseech you all Muslims in Ondo and Nigeria as a whole to use the occasion to seek the face of God  for better Nigeria".

"Let us,all faithfuls in Ondo state pray for smooth conduct of election as residents eager to elect another governor"

"Ondo as a state of pride need credible and competent hand to govern for better socioeconomic recovery, hence, it requires a joint effort to put things in order  after 2024 governorship election" 

"Remember, Nigeria and the presidency need your prayers for better economic sustainability". Hon Ifabiyi enumerated 

The lawmaker representing Odigbo state constituency 1 at Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji spoke in a statement issued by his special adviser on Information and media strategy in Akure, the state capital, following the commencement of the global thirty days Ramadan marathon fasting on Monday.
